> TIPS
----------------------------------------
- For most efficiency start with 'DEFINITIONS' and insert your most used
Procedures, Diagnosis, Medication, Allergies etc.
- Each Definition has a short name (LOCATOR), a code and description -
designate a significant name for each locator.
- If a SUPERBILL will be routinely used, assign (in the 'DEFINITIONS' module)
the most common diagnostics and procedures (generally about 40 / 60).
- For proper 'Mail-merge' on the RECALL letter use the following commands
when typing the letter:
##@1 \
##@2 |---> Patient label (name, address, city)
##@3 /
Dear ##&1 |---> Patient name ('Mr.' or 'Ms.' is included)
A short sample letter ('RCL.TXT') is included.
- Start PATIENT file by inserting patients currently under treatment and new
ones.
- All Charges are automatically generated by VISIT.
- All billed Payments and/or Adjustments are automatically assigned to the
Doctor's account.
- For the integrity of accounting data, the billed transactions (Charges or
Payments) can NOT be altered from within the system, however by using a
different transaction number (Ex. Visit # 2, etc.) you have both
flexibility and complete control, without the danger of messing up
financial statements.
